Summer Preparatory Ballet

DESCRIPTION

Open to elementary school aged male and female children ages 5 to 11 years old. Children must be willing to participate independently without a parent. This is an entry level class for beginners. It is also the correct course for children moving up from our preschool ballet classes, for children who are repeating our preparatory classes for skill building and proficiency, or for children who have previous experience in either our summer camps or at another dance studio, and are beginning their journey at Project Ballet.

QUALIFICATIONS

Students must be no younger than 5 years old and no older than 11 years old by the first day of the enrolled session.

SCHEDULE

Classes meet for 45 minutes, four days in a row, Monday-Thursday. Register by the week. Use the links below to register. There are three weeks to choose from. Students are encouraged to register for more than one week. We find that the more often that students practice and refine their skills at a young age, the more it sets them up for success in higher levels of training.

June 16-19 from 6:00-6:45pm

July 7-10 from 5:30-6:15pm

July 14-17 from 6:00-6:45pm

TUITION

Tuition is $50 for each four-day session. Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable. Please see the bottom of this page for a special $20 discount code available to families who are BRAND NEW to Project Ballet.

DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP

Parents should bring their child into the Project Ballet lobby and wait for class to begin. Please plan to arrive about five minutes early to change into ballet shoes and take off your coat, etc. A minute or two before class is scheduled to start, our staff will take attendance and have the children line-up in the lobby to head into the classroom. Once the children have left with their teacher to begin class, parents are free to leave or you may wait in our lobby for the duration of the class. Please make sure to return promptly at the end of class. Your child's teacher will bring them back out to the lobby when class is over.
